This year, the Sadaqah Project will collaborate with our partners in Nepal and Sri Lanka to provide food packs for families during the entire month of Ramadan. Our aim is to supply essential items such as oil, flour, dates, lentils, sugar, and other necessary goods., and other items.

Each food pack cost £27.00

The food packs will include essentials that will last the families for Ramadan.

Zakat

Zakat is usually 2.5% of a Muslim's assets, including cash, silver, and gold, after removing debts and immediate expenses.

Sadaqah Jariyah means continuous, flowing, and ongoing charity giving on behalf of a deceased loved one or those in need.

Fitrana

Fitrana is an obligatory donation made by every family member before Eid salah. In the UK, fitrana is calculated at £3.50 per household.

Lillah
Lillah is an Arabic word meaning "forAllah in Islam". It refers to voluntary charitable donations given with the intention of pleasing Allah.

Water Hand pump
This Ramadan, consider giving a hand pump in memory of your loved one. We have installed over 300 hand pumps in Pakistan for families in rural areas who have no access to clean water other than community wells. The cost of one hand pump is £120. In return, we will provide you with a comprehensive report on the beneficiary.

Qurbani
The Sadaqah Project will be conducting Qurbani in Tanzania this year. A goat costs £47 pounds. If you have one done at the end of Ramadan, please provide us with the name of the person on whose behalf it is being done.
